Articulated Laser Arms

E-mail Print PDF

Articulated mirror arms deliver controlled laser illumination flexibly and safely to any point within its reach. They are particularly
effective when the the laser beam or illumination plane need to be moved often and repeatably, laser needs to be kept away from the experiment due to space constraints. The optical alignment of the laser-arm assembly is highly stable and easy to adjust.
To couple easily the mirror arm to the laser head, LIS provide standard- and custom-made chassis frames for any combination of laser type, wavelength and beam energy.  The laser-arm assembly can be positioned on static or mobile bench units that can be moved easily around the laboratory.

The addition of light sheet optics results in a versatile and self-contained PIV illumination system that can safely deliver high power laser pulses to the experiment.
